Medical-aid accredited

We take medical aids. Real-time, on every seat.

Check the member and the benefit before the patient sits down. Submit the claim before they leave. See the rejection reason on the line, not in a letter three weeks later. Remittances post themselves to the right invoice. Accredited switching, built in, at no licence cost.

  • Real-time eligibility
  • Item-level rejection codes
  • Reversals
  • ERA auto-posting
  • 25,798 tariff codes
  • ICD-10 validated before transmission

Two exceptions today: dentists and optometrists are not yet switched for medical-aid claims and run on iScript as cash practices, with the software still free. Dental therapists, oral hygienists and dispensing opticians claim as normal.

AI at every consultation

Software that thinks with you.

With the patient’s consent, iScript listens. By the time you finish talking the note is drafted, the diagnosis and codes are suggested, non-billable codes are flagged and interactions are checked. You read it, change what you want, confirm. Nothing enters the record unreviewed. Unlimited, on every seat, at no charge.

“South African medicine runs on software designed to get a practitioner paid — not to help a practitioner think.”

What the published evidence shows

In 39 849 primary-care visits across fifteen clinics, a passive background safety net at defined checkpoints reduced history-taking errors 32%, diagnostic errors 16%, treatment errors 13% and investigation errors 10% — with 5 666 visits independently graded by physician reviewers.

Investigations

Order from the consultation. Results come back to the record.

Ampath orders leave with your own Ampath code. Results return as values, units and reference ranges, not a PDF in your inbox. Abnormals are highlighted and raise a task for you. Imaging requests go the same way. Point-of-care testing and remote patient monitoring are next on the same rail.

Running in production

All of this runs today

Live practices, live patients, real medical-scheme money. The record, the diary, the claims, the pathology, the dispensing, the telehealth and the financials are in daily use across independent and group practices — and they are the part that is free.

Live

Multi-tenant clinical core

A production data model of more than 150 entities spanning clinical, billing, inventory, claims, communications and compliance — with row-level tenant isolation, so every practice's data is cryptographically its own.

Live

Structured consultation workflow

28 structured clinical consultation templates and 12 condition templates that turn a consultation into structured data rather than a free-text note attached to an invoice.

Live

Real-time medical-scheme claim switching

MediKredit doctor integration built to XML specification 3.53 over certificate-based mutual TLS: member and benefit eligibility, claim submission, item-level rejection handling, reversals and electronic remittance advice.

Live

Bidirectional pathology

Ampath integration across seven endpoints, parsing XML and PDF reports into discrete values, units and reference ranges. Abnormal flags raise clinician tasks automatically, with a results poller running every 30 minutes.

Live

Coding and tariff intelligence

A billing tariff library of 25 798 codes including NAPPI, and the full ICD-10 Master Industry Table with validation edits applied before a claim is ever transmitted.

Live

Telehealth, e-prescribing and messaging

Low-latency video consultations with clinical context in-frame, compliant electronic prescriptions, WhatsApp Business API messaging, voice over IP and card payment collection — all in production.

The commercial model

Your practice software is now free.

Everything above: R0 on every seat, permanently. Not a trial. You pay only for the claims you submit, and for two optional business modules if you want them. Published, not quoted. Never a percentage of what you earn.

What you would save

Move the sliders. That is your practice.

Total cost of ownership

Seven vendors, or one

A South African practice does not buy one thing. It buys practice management, an AI scribe, a clinical reference, a website, accounting software, a bookkeeper and a claims switch — from seven different suppliers, on seven different invoices, with seven different support queues.

Where your money goes today

Most of it is not about getting paid

63%

of what a practice pays every month is not for claims at all. It is for software and for the admin that bad software creates.

That is the part we give away. You pay us for claims, and for the two business modules if you want them.

Business modules

The software runs the practice. Two modules grow it.

Website module

· R699

Just practise. Your website brings the patients.

Rebuilt on your domain, under your brand, nothing to pay for the build. Online booking straight into the diary. Digital intake that lands in the record before the patient arrives. Up to ten condition assessments that arrive as a structured chart, not an enquiry. Every page checked against HPCSA advertising rules before it goes live.

See the Website module

Finance module

· R699

Just practise. Your books close daily.

Every consultation, claim, dispensed item and remittance posts to a real ledger as it happens. Remittances matched to claims, claims to invoices. Stock and cost of sales without re-capture. You review; you do not capture. Your accountant gets their own login.

Switching

Switch in 48 hours

Two days from the first conversation to consulting on iScript. Your patient list, your practitioners, your tariffs and your practice codes come across; your practice numbers do not change; and your claims keep flowing the whole way through.

  1. 01Day one, morning: your practice is created, branded and configured, and your practitioners are registered against their own HPCSA and BHF numbers.
  2. 02Day one, afternoon: patient records, tariffs and outstanding balances are imported from your outgoing system and reconciled against it.
  3. 03Day two: your staff are trained on your own tenant with your own data, not on a manual.
  4. 04Day two, close: you claim from iScript. Nothing about the way a scheme sees your practice has changed.

CORE

The whole clinical platform, free

R0

per seat, permanently

CORE is the whole clinical platform, on every seat, at no cost and with no expiry. The patient record, the diary, the billing, the claims workflow, the AI documentation, telehealth, e-prescribing, pathology and the patient app. Not a trial, not a cut-down edition and not a step you are meant to grow out of — the same code a six-site group runs. Claims are R9.95 each, and that is the only charge there is.

STRIDE

One paid module — Website or Finance

R699

per practice, per month

STRIDE adds either Website or Finance to the free platform. Website turns your practice into something patients can find and book. Finance closes your books daily instead of quarterly. Neither makes you a better practitioner; both make you a better business. Claims drop from R9.95 to R8.95 each for as long as the module is on.

SUMMIT

Both modules — Website and Finance

R1 199

per practice, per month

SUMMIT is both modules together. Bought separately they are R699 × 2 = R1 398. SUMMIT is R1 199 — R199 a month less, R2 388 a year. Claims drop to R7.95 each, the lowest rate on the ladder.

We will never put clinical quality behind a price.

Claims are prepaid and the credits never expire, and the rate falls as you move up: R9.95 on CORE, R8.95 on STRIDE, R7.95 on SUMMIT. We never charge a percentage of your claim value, a percentage of your turnover, a surcharge on card payments, a fee per telemedicine link, or a charge to get your data out.
