For your profession
Built for the profession you are registered in
A dentist's administrative day is not a psychologist's, and neither is a radiographer's. 28 professions, each with its own page — what is live, what is still being built, and which board governs the record.
In short
iScript.live is a South African multi-tenant healthcare practice platform used by providers across all 12 HPCSA professional boards, and by AHPCSA-regulated professions such as chiropractic and homeopathy. It holds the clinical record, consultation workflow, telehealth, e-prescribing and real-time medical-scheme claim switching in one system, with row-level data isolation between practices.

The six we have written out in full
Every profession below has a page. These six carry the most detail, because they are where the platform is most heavily used today.
Every profession, by board
28 professions across 12 HPCSA boards
Grouped the way the regulator groups them, so you can find your own register rather than guessing which label we used. The last group is regulated by the AHPCSA, not the HPCSA, and is marked accordingly.

Questions about coverage
Which professions this platform is for
Short answers, written to stand on their own.
Which healthcare professions can use iScript.live in South Africa?
iScript.live is built for practices across all twelve HPCSA professional boards, from medical and dental through psychology, physiotherapy, optometry, dietetics, occupational therapy, speech and hearing, radiography, emergency care, environmental health and medical technology, as well as AHPCSA-regulated professions such as chiropractic and homeopathy.
How many professional boards does the HPCSA have?
The Health Professions Council of South Africa works through twelve professional boards, each regulating a defined group of professions under the Health Professions Act 56 of 1974. Chiropractors, homeopaths and several other allied professions are regulated separately by the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa.
Is iScript.live only for doctors?
No. The platform is multi-tenant and role-configurable, so a psychology room, a dental practice, a physiotherapy group and a six-site general practice run on the same code with different roles, templates and permissions. Data is isolated at row level between practices.
Can allied health practitioners claim from medical schemes on iScript.live?
Claims are submitted through the live MediKredit integration with member and benefit eligibility returned beforehand and item-level rejection reasons afterwards. What any given practitioner may bill depends on their registration, their practice code number and the scheme's rules.
How long does it take to get a practice live on iScript.live?
Onboarding is measured in days. A practice registers online, receives its own branded tenant and subdomain, and captures its practice code, switching bureau and scheme configuration in the same flow. Migration of historic patient data is scoped separately, because its length depends on the outgoing system.
Bring your practice onto the platform
Come onto the platform, whichever board you are on
Registering a practice produces a working tenant with your branding and your subdomain in minutes. If you practise inside someone else's rooms — as an associate, a locum or on a salary — join the practice that is already here instead. Either way, roles, templates and permissions follow your profession rather than being assumed.
