How Lighthouse iScript (Pty) Ltd processes personal information on iscript.live, in terms of POPIA. Last updated: July 2026.

1. Who we are

Lighthouse iScript (Pty) Ltd (“iScript”, “we”) operates the iScript Health platform and this website, iscript.live. We are the responsible party for personal information processed through this site under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

2. Information we collect

Through this website we collect information you provide during practice onboarding (practice details, contact details, HPCSA and BHF numbers, billing preferences) and through our contact form (name, email, phone, message). We do not collect patient health information on this website — clinical data is processed only within the iScript Health platform under separate agreements.

3. How we use it

We use your information to provision and manage your practice tenant, respond to inquiries, provide support, invoice for services, and communicate service updates. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

4. Lawful basis and consent

Processing is based on your consent (submitted forms), the performance of our agreement with your practice, and our legitimate interest in operating the platform. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

5. Sharing and operators

We use vetted operators to deliver our services — including cloud hosting and email delivery providers — bound by confidentiality and POPIA-compliant processing terms. Onboarding data is shared with the iScript Health platform to create your practice.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is role-based and logged. We maintain technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we process.

7. Retention

We retain onboarding and contact records for as long as needed to provide services and meet legal obligations, after which they are securely deleted.

8. Your rights

Under POPIA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may object to processing or lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa). Contact us at support@iscript.live to exercise any right.
